Aborting a Loop

Aborting a Loop

Question:
Is there any way to abort a loop with just pressing a kee. Like you could do in Pascal:

dountil keypress

Answer:
If you are writing a loop that runs in a Windows application, you can test if a key was pressed using the PeekMessage API function. For example, this code executes a break statement if it determines the Escape key has been pressed:

// Check for escape keyif (::PeekMessage(&msg, m_hWnd, WM_KEYFIRST, WM_KEYLAST, PM_REMOVE)) {   if (msg.message == WM_KEYDOWN && msg.wParam == VK_ESCAPE)      break;}
