pass variables to a pb app

Question:
My PowerBuilder application is a contact system. It includes a case-based reasoning system that uses customer account numbers to guide users through actions. I need to be able to start the PowerBuilder app from the billing engine, which is in Oracle forms, and then pass in parameters (such as account numbers) to the pb app, and fire up the cbr. Any ideas how I can do this?

Answer:
You can pass parameters to your PowerBuilder application through use of the command line, for example:

c:mypbapp.exe someparameter

Inside PowerBuilder you can use either the argument command line in the open event of the application, or the CommandParm() function.
