Page allocations in a sql table

Question:
I am getting all kinds of errors on a database table that have something to do with page allocation in the database (error 1109). I would like to drop the table and restore from a backup, but I receive this error when I try to drop, select into, or bulk copy the table to another database. I can’t drop the table using delete, drop table, or seemingly any other means. Is this a hardware problem? Database problem?

Answer:
According to the documentation, “this error is almost always caused by hardware or operating system problems.” The suggested “solution” is to go to your backup. You should also run hardware diagnostics and make sure nothing is going bad.
