Recovering a Corrupt pbl

Question:
I have a pbl which gives gpf’s when I try to open it in PB v6.5. I am able to see some syntax when I view the pbl in Notepad and was wondering about the file format and where I could get information on it?

Answer:
The file format for the pbl’s is not in the public domain. Unfortunately, the only way is to make a copy of the corrupt pbl, then restore to your last backup of the pbl, then you can open the corrupt pbl in notepad and copy across any modified scripts.

You cannot recover objects and controls but at least the scripts are better than nothing.
