Empty Numeric Field

Question:
I have a numeric data field where zero is a valid value. When a number has been entered and then it is deleted, I want it to become blank or empty. Currently it defaults to zero. How can I get it to default to empty?

Answer:
There is a property of textboxes called “Format.” One of the valid format codes is Z. If you set the format property to Z, it displays the value as blank if it is 0 except when the control has the focus.
