Question:
We have a user on Exchange Server that no longer can access his account (“User does not have permission to log on to Microsoft Outlook”). I remember seeing an article recently about two utilities that can move items from one Exchange account to another. Can you point me in the right direction?
Answer:
If you have any user (i.e., an administrator) who can log onto their account and access their mailbox, just have that user export their data to a .PST file. Then create a new mailbox for the user and import from that .PST file.
That would be the easiest way. If you don’t even have an administrator account that can access that mailbox, you’re going to have a tough time getting at the data anyhow.
