I cannot get 6 of 60 units to log in to an Informix application server. The units are all identical and they can ping the server. I get the message “Access Denied 999.” Can you help with this?
Answer:
The “999” error is an Informix internal error meaning “not implemented yet.” Try ilogin from the bad units to the server. And when you ping, make sure you’re pinging by name or by IP number. Try putting the IP number in the hostname field rather than the name of the host.
