Often, device emulator manager software does not automatically synchronize Internet connections between your device emulator and your workstation. To get an Internet connection, you need to install additional software—either Microsoft ActiveSync (for Windows XP and older machines) or Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center (for Windows Vista and later). These applications are freely available at Microsoft’s site. Once installed, they can make connecting to the Internet on device emulators a real breeze!
