Many Web sites publish useful data that you may want to retrieve and post on your own Web pages. The Microsoft Internet Transfer Control (Inet) provides a way for your Active Server Page (ASP) to retrieve other Web pages and gather data. The Inet control has the OpenURL and Execute methods. An ASP has no support for events, so only the OpenURL method is available. The key is to create an instance of the Inet control using the ProgID “InetCtls.Inet”. Try both http and ftp with this code:
