Apiary, the API design platform company, announced yesterday it has secured $1.63 million in seed funding led by Flybridge Capital Partners and Baseline Ventures. Headquartered in San Francisco with engineering operations in Prague, Czech Republic, Apiary Inc.has also joined the ranks of Heavybit companies. Having grown the largest collection of APIs worldwide before funding, this investment will fuel Apiary???s engineering division innovation around its core platform and expand their tool chest that includes API Blueprint, the popular, expeditious open-source format for describing API.
