Contest Description
With Microsoft Silverlight 2 and Silverlight Streaming, creating rich Internet applications (RIA) has never been faster and easier. With support for managed code and the latest presentation technologies, Silverlight 2 is the ideal platform for creating the hottest games and interactive technologies.

The RIA Run challenge is designed for you to showcase your knowledge of Silverlight 2 to the world— and potentially win prizes for it. By taking advantage of such Silverlight 2 features as layout manager support, two-way data-binding support, control template and skinning support, core form controls and built-in layout management controls, you can show the world what you can do with the most advanced RIA platform today.
Basic Rules
Just create your game app and submit it here to the contest portal by May 15, 2008. Then promote your game to all your friends (don't worry—we'll promote the game to the entire internet.com audience as well). In addition to looking at how popular each game is the judges will also evaluate each game on its own merits and usage of Silverlight 2 features. After judging is complete we'll announce the winners on June 30, 2008.

Not quite ready to enter the contest? Not sure where to start? Here's what you should do:

1 - Check out the Ideas and Examples page. This will show you where to go to learn more about Silverlight 2, types of games to build, Silverlight 2 features to use and a gallery of some games already developed to spark your imagination.

2 - Go to the Resources page to get downloads, tutorials and help in building your game.

3 - Go to the Rules page to know exactly what you need to do to enter the contest.

4 - Register on the Enter Contest page to express your interest in the contest. Even though this page asks for the URL of your application, you can put in a fake URL for now to hold your place in the game.

5 - Build your game!

6 - Return to the Contest Description page (This link is also in your confirmation email) and log in with your previous credentials to upload your game's URL in time for the contest. Still logged in? Just click on Edit Profile and you can upload your game's URL.
