Use Snap Shot Recordset if you are not Changing Records

Snapshots are faster to open and scroll through than dynasets. Dynasets are updateable result sets whereas snapshot record sets are not updateable. However, you should not use dynasets if you are not retrieving many records, or are not updating the data, and don’t need to see changes made by other users.
