A colleague wants to create a DLL using Borland C++ to callfrom Visual Basic 3.0 but she keeps getting an error message”Sub or Function Not Defined”.Do you know of any “in-depth” references to consult on creationof DLL’s?
Answer:
The DLL has probably been created ok…you just need to declare the function at the top of the form you’re using it in, or in a .BAS module. Take a look at the Programmers’ Guide…it has information about using DLL functions.The other possibility is that your friend did not make the Sub or Function in the DLL public.
