HPE and NVIDIA unveil modular AI factory solutions

HPE and NVIDIA have launched a new lineup in Las Vegas to accelerate AI adoption across industries. The new offerings include modular AI factory infrastructure and HPE’s AI-ready RTX PRO Servers (HPE ProLiant Compute DL380a Gen12). The goal is to provide enterprises with a framework to build and scale generative AI systems efficiently.

The portfolio combines accelerated computing, networking technologies, and software. This includes HPE OpsRamp Software, a validated observability solution, and HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software for orchestration. The result is a pre-integrated, modular infrastructure stack designed to help teams deploy AI solutions into production faster.

The highlight of the launch is the next-generation HPE Private Cloud AI, co-engineered with NVIDIA and validated as part of the comprehensive framework. This turnkey AI factory solution will feature HPE ProLiant Compute DL380a Gen12 servers powered by the latest NVIDIA technology. These solutions are now available for order from HPE.

HPE also unveiled a new system, the HPE Compute XD690, built with NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs.

HPE’s modular AI solutions debut

The system is expected to ship in October.

In Japan, HPE is partnering with KDDI to build NVIDIA AI infrastructure to accelerate global AI adoption. This system will be based on the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 platform, utilizing the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell architecture, at the KDDI Osaka Sakai Data Center. To further accelerate AI deployment in financial services, HPE will co-test agentic AI workflows built on Accenture’s AI Refinery with NVIDIA, running on HPE Private Cloud AI.

Initial use cases include sourcing, procurement, and risk analysis. HPE also announced the addition of 26 new partners to its ecosystem to support more NVIDIA AI use cases, bringing the total to over 70 packaged AI workloads. Security and governance were a focal point of the launch.

HPE Private Cloud AI supports air-gapped management, multi-tenancy, and post-quantum cryptography. Additionally, HPE’s try-before-you-buy program allows customers to test the system in Equinix data centers prior to purchase. HPE CEO Antonio Neri announced these developments from the Las Vegas Sphere on Tuesday at 9 a.m. PT.
