The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has collaborated with cybersecurity firm SISA to launch the Certified Security Professional for Artificial Intelligence (CSPAI) program in Bengaluru. This initiative is the first ANAB-accredited AI security certification program in India. The CSPAI program aims to provide security professionals with the necessary skills to effectively integrate AI into business applications while maintaining sustainable practices.
The launch ceremony was held at SISA’s headquarters, where Dr. Sanjay Bahl, Director General of CERT-In, and Dharshan Shanthamurthy, Founder and CEO of SISA, presented the certificates to cybersecurity professionals.

Dr. Bahl emphasized the importance of the program, stating, “This incisive and timely CSPAI program by SISA empowers professionals with comprehensive expertise to gain understanding of AI systems and to be proactive against the new spectrum of threats.”
Shanthamurthy added, “The launch of the CSPAI program perfectly complements our Cyber Nalanda initiative. This program reflects our unwavering commitment to solving the most pressing security issues both in India and globally.”
Renju Verghese, VP of Forensics and R&D at SISA, also delivered a presentation on the program’s unique features and security strategies for protecting AI systems.
