SNK has released a new patch for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. This is the third update in just a few days. The rapid sequence of updates shows SNK’s commitment to refining the game.
Version 1.1.6 was rolled out earlier today. It is not a major update aimed at shaking up the game’s meta. It addresses a few specific issues concerning characters Vox Reaper and Billy Kane.
Some changes to Billy Kane could be seen as nerfs. They are not expected to greatly affect his tier ranking. SNK has a list of known issues they plan to address in future updates.
Players can expect adjustments for characters such as Preecha, Tizoc, B. Jenet, Kevin, Hokutomaru, Mai, and Kim. There will also be some miscellaneous fixes.
Despite the recent rapid pace of updates, SNK has indicated that there will be a slowing down of their release cadence. The next update is scheduled for May 12. Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to download the latest patch from your platform’s home menu.
SNK has also rolled out the 1.1.5 patch for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. This patch aims to address issues related to input delay on the PlayStation 5 version of the game. The release notes for the patch focus on the reduction of button input delays on the PS5.
SNK has acknowledged a list of ongoing issues that are currently under investigation. Known issues still being examined include problems with characters Hokutomaru and Mai. Newly identified concerns affect characters like Kim Dong Hwan, B.
Patch notes and character adjustments
Jenet, and Billy Kane, as well as certain game modes. SNK reiterated their commitment to taking action against players who are illegally accessing the game or using tools to disrupt the game’s environment.
Players hope for prompt solutions to these problems. Further updates will be provided as SNK continues to work on these issues. Just released last week, there’s already another update coming to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
SNK has revealed the details of the upcoming patch set to hit the game later this week. The developers had previously released a patch aimed at removing infinite combos for Marco and Salvatore Ganacci. More adjustments are on the way.
For Preecha, changes are coming as her jump startup is apparently invincible against low attacks. This will be fixed. Her Redline Gear out of a Guard Cancel has an animation issue that needs attention.
At certain timings, the guard cancel version of her Redline Gear P = mc² may not start its animation despite landing successfully. This animation transition will be fixed to play properly. Salvatore also has a larger pushbox than other characters when getting hit.
Adjustments will be made to bring him in line with the rest of the cast. No specific time was given for the update, but SNK says it’ll come sometime between April 30 and May 2. No server maintenance is expected to be required for this patch.
More substantial updates are planned for City of the Wolves. This includes separate character rankings coming in the next phase this Fall. The fixes are expected to release around April 30 to May 2.
SNK apologizes for any inconvenience these issues may cause and thanks players for their continued support of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
