Halliday, a company showcasing its products at CES 2025, has unveiled a pair of smart glasses that have captured the attention of attendees. The glasses stand out from the competition due to their impressive design and performance, with a focus on comfort and functionality. The key feature of Halliday’s smart glasses is an innovative invisible display integrated into the frame rather than the lens.
This breakthrough is made possible by what the company claims to be the world’s smallest optical module, measuring just 3.6mm. Despite its miniature size, the display provides users with a field of view comparable to that of a 3.5-inch screen. The compact display module allows the frames to be exceptionally light, weighing only 35 grams.
In comparison, standard smart glasses displayed at the event weighed around 48 grams, making Halliday’s offering noticeably lighter. The frames boast a classic, sleek design and include a battery that lasts up to 12 hours, a microphone, speakers, and come in three colors: Amber, Black, and Gradient.
Halliday’s smart glasses innovation displayed
The display, located just above the right lens, requires users to look up slightly to see it. Although this positioning may initially seem unnatural, it proves to be quite ergonomic as it does not obstruct the user’s direct line of sight. The display shows graphics such as icons, words, and texts in green.
The “Digi Window” display can be used for a variety of functions, including AI real-time translations in over 40 languages, teleprompter text, notes, notifications, and even turn-by-turn navigation. During the demo, several features were highlighted, all focused on displaying text. The text was comfortably readable, even for those who wear prescription eyeglasses, thanks to an adjustable dial for eye prescription and a slider to adjust the display position.
Halliday’s smart glasses provide a glimpse into the future of wearable technology, combining lightweight design with practical AI-driven functionalities. As the competition in the smart glasses market heats up, Halliday’s offering has managed to impress attendees at CES 2025 with its innovative features and user-friendly design.
