Monster Train 2 is set for release in 2025. The game is a sequel to the popular card-based roguelite strategy game. Fans can play a demo of the game right now. Roguelite refers to things like permadeath and restarting from the beginning upon death.
Monster Train 2 will feature new clans, enemies, and card types. It will also have an endless mode and add Pyre Hearts, which are unique gameplay features.
These will allow for more customization and story progression. The game will have Dimensional Challenges, handcrafted challenges with new mutators, and cosmetic rewards.
New parts allow players to customize their train’s appearance. The Logbook is a new feature that tracks completion goals, enemy information, and collection objectives. Players can also compare achievements with friends using the Logbook.
Daily Challenges will be available with new and classic mutators. There will be a global leaderboard and a skill-focused scoring system. Celestial Alcoves are another new feature.

Celestial Alcoves are random events with exciting gameplay and surprises. Endless Mode allows players to travel the Rails with increasing difficulty. They can test their skills and compare stats against friends.
