OnePlus Watch 3 43mm review: sleek, lightweight features revealed

OnePlus is set to launch the 43mm model of its OnePlus Watch 3 on July 8. The company has revealed key specifications and color options ahead of the release. The OnePlus Watch 3 previously debuted in a 46mm size, featuring a 1.5″ screen.

The new 43mm model will have a slightly smaller 1.32″ display. It is designed to be lighter, weighing 1.3 oz (36.8 g) compared to the 46mm variant’s 1.75 oz (49.7 g). The 43mm version will sport a stainless-steel body.

It will be available in two color choices: Black Steel and Silver Steel. Both variants will include an enhanced “Mind & Body Evaluation” feature, which monitors the user’s well-being. The watch is equipped with a “real-time barometer.” OnePlus claims this can assess the user’s level of fatigue every 30 minutes.

More details about the OnePlus Watch 3 43mm’s features, pricing, and availability will be shared on July 8. The 46mm OnePlus Watch 3 initially launched at $330 but later increased to $349.99.

43mm model and color options

The 43mm version is anticipated to be more affordable, potentially around $251. The OnePlus Watch 3 43mm shares several similarities with the Oppo Watch X2 mini. Both feature a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels.

It’s suggested that if the OnePlus Watch 3 mirrors the Oppo Watch X2 mini, it will feature the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC paired with the BES2800BP MCU, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage. The watch is also expected to offer up to 7 days of battery life in power saver mode. Designed without compromising on performance, the OnePlus Watch 3 43mm maintains a sleek, lightweight build.

With a 1.32-inch display housed in a stainless steel body weighing just 1.3 ounces, it ensures all-day comfort, suitable for workouts and sleep. The watch crystal boasts a 2.5D micro-curved design. This ensures a seamless transition between different materials for a unified aesthetic and a comfortable touch.

The screen-printed 12-hour indices ensure precise time reading, echoing the charm of traditional timepieces. To support stress relief, the watch includes a one-minute guided breathing session with real-time feedback. It also provides daily and weekly trends on mind and body status, along with personalized prompts to help reduce stress and improve overall wellbeing.
