It’s a good time to be looking for a job in application development—and most other areas of IT.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, demand for systems and application software developers will grow 30%-34% in the next eight years. In all, the agency predicts 1.4 million job openings for “computer specialists” by 2018, and unlike in other industries, most of those will be newly created jobs.
