After debuting the iPhone 4S yesterday, Apple also seeded the iOS 5 Gold Master to developers. Unlike earlier versions of the update, this one is not available as an over-the-air update and must be downloaded.
The appearance of the Gold Master also means that Apple will begin accepting iOS 5 apps submissions to the App Store. Once iOS 5 becomes available to end users, Apple will likely begin featuring apps built to take advantage of the update’s new features.
