Application development tool vendor Atlassian has released version 4 of its Bamboo continuous integration and delivery server. Bamboo allows developers to test development branches of code before merging with the main line. It supports both distributed version control systems, like Git and Mercurial, and traditional client-server version control systems, like Subversion and CVS.
Bamboo users include General Electric, NASA, Stanford University, Verizon, Mercedes-Benz, and many smaller companies. Prices for Bamboo 4 begin at $10, with a free 30-day trial.
