At the annual BlackBerry World conference, RIM launched BlackBerry 10, the latest update to its mobile operating system. Although the company is not releasing any phones that use the new OS until later this year, developers can try out BlackBerry 10 and begin building apps now.
“The platform has been built to give developers the ability to create amazing content and a great user experience. The support and excitement we already see from developers is both rewarding and encouraging,” said RIM’s Martyn Mallick. “We are hearing every day from partners who want to start building and showcasing their work on BlackBerry 10.”
