Salesforce.com has rolled out a number of upgrades to its Force.com cloud development platform. Those upgrades include geolocation fields for mobile apps, push upgrades and a new Schema Builder toolset, which offers a drag-and-drop interface for building database schemas. Salesforce.com’s Mike Rosenbaum said that “very unique” features like these are building momentum for Force.com and AppExchange.
Currently, the Salesforce.com’s app marketplace includes approximately 1,500 apps. Of those, only 325 were built on Force.com.
