AWS Slashes S3, EBS Prices

AWS Slashes S3, EBS Prices

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is once again dropping prices on some of its cloud services. This time it’s storage that’s getting cheaper, specifically Simple Storage Service (S3) and Elastic Block Storage (EBS).

The biggest S3 users will see their prices go down by 22 percent. Those in other pricing tiers will see decreased between 6 and 15 percent.

The cuts in EBS prices are even more substantial, but they will only be available in some regions. Some customers will see prices up to 50 percent lower than they previously were.
