IBM Adds .NET Runtime, API Management Services to Bluemix PaaS

At this week’s Cloud Foundry Summit, IBM announced several new services that are coming to its Bluemix platform as a service (PaaS). One of the most notable new additions is a runtime for Microsoft’s .NET platform. Bluemix is also getting new API management capabilities and location services for mobile apps.

Several third-party firms are also launching new services for Bluemix. These include the Namara.io platform by ThinkData Works, the Cupenya Insights service, the flowthings.io service by Flow Corporation and Reappt from Push Technology.

The Bluemix cloud development platform now includes more than 100 different services.
