IBM Buys Node.js Firm StrongLoop

IBM has purchased StrongLoop, a company that sold API development tools and employed many of the top contributors to Node.js. IBM plans to integrate StrongLoop’s technology into its software offerings like MobileFirst and WebSphere, as well as into its cloud computing services, including the Bluemix platform as a service.
