In a new survey, 72 percent of organizations said they are planning to upgrade to Windows 7, and 70 percent said they were either already upgrading or would begin upgrading before the end of the year.
That positive response is a marked contrast from the enterprise reception of Microsoft’s last operating system–Windows Vista. In fact, 95 percent of those surveyed said that their company is still running at least some machines with Windows XP, while only 35 percent were running Windows Vista.
