The Visual InterDev 6 Style Sheet editor is confusing about the tags that can be edited. For example, the A:hover style is missing from the list of tags. A:hover is a popular style because it changes the look of a link as the user passes the mouse over it. It turns out that in the latest version of VID 6 (service pack 3), you can add your own tags into the dropdown list and still use the Style Sheet editor to design the tag’s appearance. In the Style Sheet editor, right click on HTML Tags and from the context menu, click Insert HTML Tag. In the Insert New HTML Tag dialog box, type A:hover and then click OK. You can preview the style by clicking the Preview tab, scrolling down to the Anchor text location, and passing your mouse over Sample Link.
