Change the Colors of Various Options in a Select Control

Regular select controls are quite bland. Wouldn’t it be interesting to add some color? With IE (this tip, unfortunately, does not apply to Netscape), you could change the color of each option.

To change the color of the text, add style=”COLOR: red” to your tag. To change the background color, add style=”BACKGROUND-COLOR: red” instead. If you want to change the default colors of your select control, add either style tag to your tag.
