VBScript cannot directly access the communications port. However, you may be able to add a communications control to your page that would be able to access the comm port. That seems like a security hole to me, but I heard about an ActiveX control someone created that could reformat a user’s hard drive. That says to me that controls have pretty much free reign on a user’s computer, once they have been installed.
