Question:
I am using frames and would like to disable the Print button on Internet Explorers’ toolbar when a particular document is shown within a frame.
I can get it to hide the toolbar from within the “parent” window but not from within a “child” frame. And I cannot get it to just disable an individual button. Is this possible within either VBScript or JavaScript?
Answer:
I just checked the latest Developer Network CD-ROM and there is noinformation about anything other than how to hide and show the toolbar.Apparently Microsoft has not exposed the properties and methods to hideindividual buttons on the toolbar. They may make these properties and methods available in the next version. Making things like this available seems to be a trend with Microsoft, at last.
