Question:
When I attempt to preview a report in OPO under Windows95, I get an error:
WFW-03049: Internal buffer too small for printer port name
Is this an OPO or Win95 error?
Answer:
The error comes from Power Objects, but it is caused by Windows95. Windows95 allows you to have long file names and long printer names. OPO, which is not certified for Windows95, will not allow long printer names, so the internal buffer for the printer names in Power Objects can only hold around 8 characters. Try shortening your printer name for the time being – version 2.0 of Power Objects will completely support Windows95.
