Help on commands

Question:
I’ve been programming in Turbo Pascal since v. 4.0 and have made the switch to Delphi 2.0. The only problem is all these new commands!

Where on the Net or in which book can can I find a complete list of these commands, with examples?

Answer:
For a listing of all commands, you’ll do no better than thehelp file. However, what you really need to know is how to effectively usethe components. Mind you, you won’t use all the “commands” of a component; there are some things you’ll just never need. So the important thing is to learn the more valuable concepts, and I know of no better book thanDelphi 2 Unleashedby Charles Calvert (Sams Publishing). Lookin my book reviews section for a review of this wonderful Delphi reference.
