Images and details about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 have started to leak online. The leaks come from a Twitter user who seems to have gained access to the game before its official reveal. The user has leaked information about the game’s weapons, perks, and killstreaks.
It’s unclear how they got access, but the screenshots suggest it was through the COD HQ or an old game build. These leaks come before CODNext on August 28th, 2024. CODNext will reveal more about the game’s multiplayer modes before the beta test.
It will also feature Call of Duty zombies. However, Warzone may not be included because Microsoft is buying Activision Blizzard. A big leak about Call of Duty Black Ops 6 maps hit social media on August 3.
The screenshots seem to be from the PlayStation 4 version. A user on X posted images of maps that look like they are part of Black Ops 6. The images and videos have since been taken down.
Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25. Some people, like members of Team USA at the Olympics in Paris, are already getting access to the game, so it’s not surprising that there are leaks.
According to sources, these are some of the map names for the new game:
Vorkuta Mine
Train Graveyard
Russian Base
Hacienda Alt
Firing Range 2
Train Graveyard and The Pit could be the most exciting and controversial maps. The Pit map looks incredibly cool because of its lighting and cover areas. The leaked footage showed some of the fast movement common in COD games.
Black Ops 6 will launch with 16 new maps and a Zombies mode. Twelve maps will be for 6v6 matches, and four smaller Strike maps will provide more action. Each map will have a story that ties into the game’s campaign.
The campaign and multiplayer will feature Frank Woods, who is now in a wheelchair, and Russell Adler.
Details ahead of Black Ops 6
After the game, other characters will probably be available as skins, like the recent WWE skins in Modern Warfare III Season 5.
Treyarch is making the game again, but Raven Software is leading the project. The Black Ops games have always been high quality, so it would be surprising if this one doesn’t meet expectations. You can pre-order BO6 now, and Activision is giving beta access to people who buy early.
The game will be available on Xbox One X, Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. October is going to be a huge month for video games. Besides BO6, other big titles like DragonBall: Sparking! Zero, Undisputed Boxing, Alan Wake 2, Metaphor, and Silent Hill 2 are also coming out.
BO6 is expected to take up over 300 GB with all the add-ons, so fans might need to make some space on their hard drives. A recent leak has revealed exciting details about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Fans are talking a lot about the return of the SWAT 5.56 from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, as well as new weapons and big changes to the gameplay.
The leak shows a new menu, a fresh soundtrack, and new multiplayer modes. This suggests major updates in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The leak also hinted at nine multiplayer maps with different environments for intense battles.
One thing that has fans excited is the smaller number of weapon attachments. This aims to make each attachment more unique and impactful. For example, the Strelok Laser attachment might make it easier to quick-scope with sniper rifles, which could change long-range combat.
The leaked weapons include:
Assault Rifles
Submachine Guns
Marksman Rifles
Sniper Rifles
The SWAT 5.56, known for its burst-fire mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, is likely returning. This time, a Select Fire attachment may let players switch to fully automatic mode. This could be very useful in close combat.
While the leak gives us an idea of what to expect, keep in mind that the game is still months away from release. So things could change before the final launch. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is being made by Activision and will come out on October 25, 2024.
The game promises to have all the modes fans love, from a big campaign to various multiplayer modes like 2v2, 6v6, and the popular Zombies mode.
