Menu Security

Menu Security

Question:
I am building a security program for a high school in my area. I need a way to allow the teacher to select menus in programs she does not want students to use. She needs to be able to select the menu easily; for example:

  1. The context menu in Windows Explorer
  2. The ‘Set as Wallpaper’ in Web browsers

I’ve looked everywhere I can think of, and I can’t come up with anything. Any ideas?

Answer:
This is really a job for Windows security. There are several tools available that will let you “lockdown” the environment. Windows system policies can also help with this task. Check Microsoft’s Web site for more information about this.
