Question:
I recently modified the following under my application’s class libraries…
app_aboutboxapp_splash
I rebuilt the project and executable, but when I run my application, text and images from both the splash screen and About box are missing.
Am I modifying these in the wrong place?
Answer:
Make sure that picture files (BMP, JPG, etc.) are included in the project. You can check this by opening the project, choosing the tab named “Other,” and opening the tree view item that says “Other Files.”
If they are not there, add them. If they are there, make sure that there is not a circle with a line through it next to the picture files. This means that they are not included in the EXE. If it is not included, right-click on the item in the project manager and choose “Include.”
