There is a utility in the W2K Resource Kit called SU.exe. SU lets you start a processrunning as an arbitrary user. You can run SU under W2K’s Task Scheduler to accomplishyour purpose. Look for the article in the Windows 2000 Resource Kits Tools help filecalled “Running SU Under Task Scheduler.” You can set the security for the task (run atscheduled times), so the ordinary user cannot modify the task.
