Giving yourself enough elbow room to design Web pages can be difficult inside the Visual InterDev environment. However, there’s a little-known feature that greatly expands your screen real estate. Full Screen mode is part of the Window UI toolbar, but not visible in the default installation. To enable this feature, right-click in VID’s menu area. From the context menu, click the Window UI entry so that there’s a check mark beside it. At the right-hand end of the Window UI toolbar, click the Full Screen button. After you’ve admired all the extra space that you have gained, look for the floating Window UI toolbar and click Full Screen to return to your previous view. The same toolbar includes other options such as buttons that tile your windows in different layouts.

What is metadata? Well, It’s an odd concept to wrap your head around. Metadata is essentially the secondary layer of data that tracks details about the “regular” data. The regular
