Samsung has introduced the Odyssey OLED G6 and G8, its first 500-Hz OLED gaming monitors as well as its first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor. These new products will be unveiled at CES 2025, along with more display innovations targeted at gamers and content creators. The company’s new lineup includes several cutting-edge displays, such as the Smart Monitor M9, the Odyssey OLED G6, and the OLED G8.
Samsung is also showcasing the ViewFinity S8, designed to offer enhanced performance for both gaming and content creation. The Smart Monitor M9 is one of the industry’s first AI-integrated monitors.

It features an AI Picture Optimizer and 4K AI Upscaling Pro, which significantly enhance the visual experience by automatically adjusting image quality based on content.
This monitor is ideal for gaming, watching movies, and content creation. The Odyssey OLED G8 features 4K resolution and up to a 240 Hz refresh rate.

Samsung’s innovative display lineup
The Odyssey OLED G6 offers a QHD (2560x1440p) resolution on an OLED panel and boasts a 500 Hz refresh rate for extremely fluid gameplay. Both the G6 and the G8 feature a 0.03ms GtG response time and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for tear-free gaming.
They also support DisplayHDR True Black 400, enhancing visual quality with better brightness than typical OLED panels. Another innovative model is the Odyssey 3D, a 27-inch gaming monitor that offers a customizable 3D experience without the need for 3D glasses. The monitor uses AI to convert 2D content into 3D, adding depth to enhance the user experience.
The ViewFinity S8 boasts a large 37-inch display, providing an immersive experience and making content creation simpler. It features 4K resolution and 99% sRGB color space coverage for excellent color reproduction and accuracy. Additionally, the ViewFinity S8 includes a built-in KVM, an easy-to-set-up stand, and a 90W USB-C connection with power delivery for charging laptops.
Samsung has not yet released pricing and availability details for these products, but they are expected to hit the market soon after their CES unveiling.
