The EA FC 25 Team of the Year (TOTY) event is here, and fans are excited to see which players made the cut. EA Sports has revealed the final XI for both the men’s and women’s teams, as voted by fans. Real Madrid dominates the men’s TOTY XI with four players, while Liverpool has two.

The rest of the team is split between Bayer Leverkusen, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Aston Villa. Surprisingly, Rodri from Manchester City made the team despite being injured since September 2024 with a ruptured ACL. His absence has deeply affected City’s performance, with the team winning only six of their last 16 league games.

The women’s TOTY XI showcases the rise of European teams, with Barcelona having four players and Chelsea having three. Only one U.S. player made the team, highlighting the shift in dominance in women’s soccer.

Guro Reiten (Chelsea) and Caroline Graham Hansen (Barcelona) are the only two players on the team who don’t play in their own domestic league.
EA Sports will release the TOTY attackers on January 17, midfielders on January 19, and defenders and goalkeepers on January 21.

The complete TOTY rosters will be available in the Football Ultimate Team item pool from January 23 to January 31.
Honorable mentions and the twelfth man or woman will be introduced on January 24. Fans are also excited about the opportunity to earn a free TOTY Icon card featuring the legendary Zinedine Zidane. To claim this card, players need to play EA FC 25 between January 17, 2025, and February 14, 2025, at 10 AM PT.
The card boasts an impressive 90 OVR rating and highlights Zidane’s iconic 2002 season, including his unforgettable left-footed volley during the UEFA Champions League final against Bayer Leverkusen. Club Members who played EA FC 24 by September 26, 2024, or EA FC 25 by October 31, 2024, will receive an exclusive Evolution upgrade for their 90 OVR Zidane TOTY Icon card, enhancing it to a 94 overall rating with improved stats. As the TOTY event unfolds, the EA FC community is abuzz with leaks about potential players.
While these leaks are generally reliable, they should be taken cautiously as plans can change.
