Microsoft Delivers OData SDKs

Microsoft has announced the released of a new software development kit for the Open Data Protocol. According to the company, the new SDK will “make it easier for developers to access data from the cloud to create more compelling cross-platform Web applications.”

The release takes an HTTP and Atom-based approach to data portability and includes SDKs for .NET, Java, PHP, Objective-C (iPhone and Mac), JavaScript, and others.
