In March, Appcelerator launched Titanium, a framework that enables cross-platform mobile application development. Now the company has announced that Titanium has enabled the development of 4,000 apps in Apple’s App Store and Google’s Android Market, and it used by 65,000 developers including some working for companies like eBay, NBC and Budweiser.

“Since the release of Appcelerator’s all native platform in March, we have seen an exponential increase in the pace of application development,” says CEO Jeff Haynie. “Some developers are on their sixth app in just a few months, and several have seen their applications hit the top of the charts.”
