Linux Developers Mull Unified App Store

Developers from Debian, Fedora, Red Hat, Mageia, Mandriva, openSUSE, and Ubuntu met in Germany January 19-21 to discuss the development of a universal Linux app store. Such an app store would make it much easier for end users to find, download, and install software, regardless of which Linux distribution they use.

Video from the event, called “Cross-Distro Craziness” is available online at YouTube.
