Apple has announced that its 2011 Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) will kick off on June 6 in San Francisco. The company says it will “unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS” at the event, which likely means that it will debut iOS 5.0.
Although Apple didn’t release any other details, rumors suggest that the updated operating system will feature a stronger reliance on the cloud with an update for MobileMe that may include a “music locker” and a new location-based service.
