My connection to my server is disrupted when I get a call on call waiting. No one seems to know how to dis-enable my call waiting. Service is provided by Northland Telephone in Cabot, Vermont.

Contact your local telephone company and ask if there is acode to disable the service.
Here in California, for example, a user can disable call waiting by dialing*70 before the number. So, when entering the phone number to dial out tothe local Internet Service Provider, add that code priorto dialing the phone number.
