Microsoft Updates SQL Server with Hybrid Cloud Computing Capabilities

Microsoft has released a new preview build of SQL Server 2016 that makes it possible for enterprises to scale their on-premises databases into Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing service without making any changes to the application. The SQL Server update also boasts excellent security and simple deployment. “You turn it on, and it starts to work,” said Mark Jewett, director of product marketing for Microsoft’s Cloud Platform division.
