Report: Windows 10 Will Feature a New Browser

"Spartan" will reportedly ship with Microsoft's new operating system.

Application Security Testing: An Integral Part of DevOps

Citing unnamed sources and VLC developer Thomas Nigro, Mary Jo Foley from ZDNet is reporting that Microsoft is working on a new, lightweight browser codenamed Spartan. The sources say Windows 10 will likely ship with both Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) and the new browser.

Microsoft could show off the new browser at the Windows 10 event scheduled for January 21. However, Foley's sources weren't sure if Spartan would be ready by then.
