The week concludes with the announcement of awards like the Small Business Person of the Year.

Between April 28 and May 3, the SBA has planned a series of events inaugurated by SBA Administrator Isabel Guzman, in Washington D.C. These activities aim to applaud the small business employees, who form a crucial economic segment. Opportunities to learn and network abound, supplemented with vigorous discussions to address business challenges and strategies. The SBA is excited to support this cornerstone of economic growth by providing the necessary knowledge and resources.
The week will feature awards like the Women’s Business Center of the Year and the Small Business Investment Company of the Year, culminating with the National Small Business Person of the Year award. Additional recognitions include the Veteran’s Small Business Award and the Minority Small Business Award.
A two-day online summit is slated, featuring discussions on “Future of Commerce” and “Unlocking AI’s Potential for Your Small Business”. Regional events in places like Honolulu and St. Joseph, Missouri, are also on the agenda, with activities ranging from small business bingo to incubator showcases. These events aim to stimulate job creation and economic growth.
