What's Happening at BlackBerry Live

New smartphones launched, BBM went cross-platform and some celebrities showed up.

Application Security Testing: An Integral Part of DevOps

Blackberry is currently holding its annual BlackBerry Live event in Orlando, and the first day kicked off on a high note. "I remember being right here one year ago ... and this feels very, very different," said CEO Thorsten Heins.

He then announced that the Q10 smartphone will come to the U.S. in June, showed off the new Q5 handset for developing markets, and told the audience that the company will release BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) for iOS and Android.

A couple of celebrities also showed up for the first day festivities, including Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton and singer (and BlackBerry Creative Director) Alicia Keys.
